Checking in after another year in bottle. Bold fruit on the nose, with a hint of alcohol. The palate shows good acidity, with bold, rustic fruit and a touch of sweetness. Still has plenty of time.

Bold mountain fruit on the nose. The palate is also big for a Barbera, with good fruit and spice. Has many years of good drinking ahead of it.

Bold, spicy fruit and hints of dusty earth on the nose. Big fruit on the palate, with floral notes and rather prominent oak. Finishes a bit short. Still a bit rustic, but should mellow nicely in another year or so. Approachable now with food, but no hurry at all. Will be 90+ eventually.
