Dense and dark for a Pinot, but not as full bodied as the Reserve, also not the depth of fruit and flavor of the Reserve. The 2011 vintage not as good as the 2008 and 2012. Still a good wine.

Tannin and red cherry mix with a barrage of vaguely unpleasant flavors to create an unfocused mess. With so many delicious Oregon pinots at this price point it is hard to understand why anyone would buy this.

Pre-Birthday drive in the Willamette Valley : Only 13.1% on this vintage. The aromas are fresh and soft. Texture is soft again with some light, tart red fruits. Most certainly the lightest of the line up. Soft and slightly flat on the finish, offering some slight funk.
