La Paulée de SF Grand Tasting (Fairmont Hotel, SF CA) : Very good concentration and density for a village wine. Big boned with serious structure. Slight darker fruited than the Bourgogne. 89-91

Very nice slightly darker fruit, excellent balance. 80% whole cluster, 10% new oak.

La Paulée de San Francisco - Grand Tasting (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA) : Tasting, brief note. Bright red cherry start, with black cherry in the background from middle through finish. Licorice and dried herbs nicely integrated. Good weight and depth, nicely forward for a young NSG.

Winebar [4 Whites & 8 Reds] from 3/2/18 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA) : N: Attractively RIPE cherries with notes of earth? P: Med, poss LM, body; NICE frt met by an astringent pucker, yet with a swtness than extends into & through the LONG, VERY slightly spicy finish with an almost swtish sense to the very, VERY fine tannins. Good nose - really jumps out of the glass Firm tannins at the moment with a meaty finish Underneath though there's a lovely fragrance so think this should be good in a few years time. Long finish.
