Pale straw colour with a good nose and still nice acidity. It doesn't finish that strongly but still drinking well.

There is no fruit left whatsoever. This wine is way past its use by date and I can only suggest using it in the kitchen.

{screwcap, 13%} Perhaps I was a bit brutal in last May's review; the mix of honey, limes and toast on the nose and palate here is very drinkable indeed. This is the kind of flavour that wins over converts to aged riesling. Medium-bodied, dry, with softening acid which suggests it's near its peak; although the flavours are a bit one-dimensional it's still a delicious dimension. I'd stick with my assessment it's drink now, but it's very delicious all the same.

{screwcap, 13%} Lots of developing lemon curd and detergent aromas here. Quite intense too. The medium-bodied palate is dry and chalky, not without some acidity still, and although it's somewhat forward in the mouth, it still has some decent mid-palate presence. The flavours are a bit foursquare, but still attractive; in-line with the bouquet there's a fair bit of lemon and a brown-leaf character too. Not terribly complex: although this will probably keep an age I doubt it will get …

NobleRottersSydney - Old riesling night (Lucio's, Paddington) : {screwcap} Pale straw colour. Gentle apple-like nose. A fruit sweet palate, with soft but fresh acid. Tending towards the Gewurz end of the riesling scale. An early drinker, with a lightweight finish of respectable length.
