Fairly classic if somewhat modern take on chorey. Earthy, red fruit, tannic, raspberry. Good acid for a ripe vintage.

Nice colour. On pop and pour this showed some nice cherry fruit maybe a little bit earthy and herbal . Palate is dry and pretty austere with light cherry fruit. Dont know if it is the plastic cork but there is a bit of a bitter edge on the finish. Overall, not bad, but nothing that special either. maybe will be better with air.

Last btl. My other notes seem overly generous. This is still rather hard and unyielding. Oak seems overdone.

Pale, muted ruby. Strawberries, underbrush and a bit of barnyard on the nose. Tart, fruit in background. Enjoyable. Opened up over evening. Best to decant at this stage.

Pop and pour, notes from 2 hrs open. On the nose: glossy wild strawberry, vanilla, toast, soft stemmy notes. On the palate: fantastic acidity, bitter toasted wild strawberry, falls off quickly on the midpalate, lighter in style, but rustic grainy tannin, and some bitterness on the tannin.

Medium red. Cherries on the nose, with some dust, acidity also coming in on the palate. Moderate in body for a red Burgundy. A bit out of balance.

A bit glossy with some VA, but loads of high-toned red fruit; some evident oak and a stemmy green note in the background. This is easy-drinking, but maybe a bit disjointed. Not bad for the price.

Not a Burgundy expert but I like this wine. It has fruit, though nothing like a good Sonoma or Willamette Valley Pinot. Mulchy earth with some restrained fruit. IT was nice with baked arctic char. Garagiste indicated that this is an organic wine.
