Nose of blackberry, raisin, currant and a touch of white pepper. Ripe cherry and plum flavors on the palate with partially integrated soft tannins. Thin to medium Bordeaux like mouthfeel. Short yet balanced finish. Nothing wrong with this wine, but nothing special either. Paired with herb and garlic rissoles, mashed potatoes with brown onion gravy and green beans.
