This bottle did not taste old, it was just not there. Both the nose (faint) & the palate (faded) compared to my last tasting. This was rosé intensity but obviously not in tone. I missed the window to enjoy both bottles, younger with more fruit vibrancy. I certainly have enjoyed the Dundee Hills bottling within 1 to 2 years of release. I should have followed that path. 2 of 2

A study in finesse over power, this wine in the glass shows a delicate deep pink to pale ruby color that belies its incredible concentration. The nose reveals cool raspberry fruit, leading into a palate that feels light-bodied yet remarkably sappy and persistent. The old vine fruit shines through with refreshing acidity and a deep core of raspberry and cherry. The super-fine, rounded tannins that are almost imperceptible. it concludes with a surprisingly long, mellow finish.

Drinking beautifully tonight. Framboise, rose petals, raspberry, slightest bit of funk and earth, a little warm oak in the background. This has fully integrated during the last two years, peaking, ready to consume. It did not really improve in the glass. 2 of 3 … Note - day 2, it had faded a bit, maybe best to enjoy near term

Tart cherries. A bit of funk on the nose but it gassed off quickly. Nice complexity.

Pleasant soft fruit nose, cranberry fruit with a slight tartness. Light body, a little linear but tasty

Nice enough, but I was expecting more at this price-point. Tonight this had a fairly light mouthfeel with reasonable depth and complexity and did improve after several hours of air. I just received this wine in a shipment that arrived yesterday, so perhaps there was abit of bottle shock going on here. I’ll reserve further judgment for future bottles.

PnP. Nose of tart wild berry, cranberry, cinnamon stick, and some dried flower notes. Dried cherry starts the palate, adds salumi notes, and broadens across the tongue with black plum and mouthwatering acidity. Lots of tannins on the finish but they’re light on their feet, with dry blackberry and wet stones lying underneath. The tannins and acidity both grew stronger as it sit in the glass. I think a year or two will add complexity to the finish. 92+ points.

Light weight elegant Pinot, very smooth with a long creamy fruit finish. Fresh fruit and decent intensity especially given the lightness

Decanted portion with stir and it opened after 1-2 hrs. Vacuvin’d the rest and decanted similarly, opening within 1 hr on day 2 and 3. Pale-medium ruby color. I do agree 100% with the last review. 👃🏻 matchstick and smoke with hints of violet 👅 cranberry, cherry, a little raspberry, white pepper with 35 sec finish, nice acidity and balance Paired well with pasta and seafood paella, finely made and would be interesting to see how it ages further except …

1st of 4 btls. Opened 4 hrs prior to diner. Color is a semi translucent red on opening that deepens to a still semi translucent ruby red with air in glass. Starts out w/ matchstick that blows off after an hour. Aromas an hour before dinner are light violets & spice. This wine is still a baby and notable today for its youthful balance, purity & elegance. Still pretty tight but the concentration, intensity & elegance are promising and intriguing …

Short decant. Light color, beautiful nose of red berries and spice. Raspberry, spice and a touch of minerality on the palate. Great acidity, smooth tannins and a weightless purity. This is still very young but I had 10 bottles so I thought I'd try one. 92 points with considerable upside.

Nothing special. not worth the $80 tariff retail from Vinopolis. Edit Oct 7: Subtle nose, tart, sour red fruits, subtle barnyard, earth, light bodied. Maybe this gets better with time in cellar, but for me...easy pass... at least at this time.

Diam 10. Lighter color than I am accustomed to with the Maresh Maresh. Stunning nose of rose petal and spice. Relatively closed palate initially, opening with air. This is prettier, maybe more so than any previous version of this wine I've had. I love the kinky spice, it's even stronger than the signature ripe strawberry/cocktail cherry I usually find in Maresh. Soft but present tannins. A consistent experience on day 2, with the Maresh strawberry coming through stronger. Easily the …

Tightly wound but showed promise pnp first night. Night two after sitting on counter this wine exploded on the palate. Electric cherry fruit, amazing acids and body coming into balance, hints of the earthy overripe strawberries that I usually find in this vineyard. Saved a final glass to follow tomorow night, but this is clearly an excellent cool vintage maresh bottling. Excited to have a number of his '19s in the cellar.
