Domaine Dominique et Janine Crochet Sancerre

This is a nice and balanced, yet a relatively light-bodied Sancerre. It is structured, acidic, fresh and decently fruity, leaving a pleasant and even intensive impression on the palate. The aroma and flavor palette is somewhat unfocused, though, and the wine is lacking some characteristics, such as blackcurrant leave and cat pee, that I would find essential with this variety and region. Not a bad buy for 17 euros (in Tallinn, Estonia), though.
