Kumeu Area winery visits (Kumeu, Auckland, NZ) : Pale yellow. SLight noble reduction and more overt oak aroma than anything at Kumeu. Feels 30-40% new (actually 25-30% new oak). Dry, medium body. Maybe I'm being overly precise, but it feels 13.7% alcohol (actually 13.8%), high acid - strong tartaric. More overt oak - ripe toast. A bit toasty but has lovely high acid and moderate fruit concentration.
