Eðalklúbbur, smakk #3 vor 2022 (Hlíðarás 10) : Meðaldökkur litur. Talsvert fágaðri ilmur heldur en í 2018 víninu. Nýheflaður viður. Sítrustónar, mandarína. Einnig blómailmur, fjólur og bóndarós. Í lokin komu svo kókos og súkkulaði. Flottur, þægilegur og fágaður ilmur. Í munni kókos. Talsverð sæta. Flott jafnvægi. Það var talað um að líklega myndi þetta vín fara vel með villtum fugli. The ‘Vinyes Baixes’ (lower vineyards) is a very elegant and already well drinkable Priorat wine, an unusual blend of Merlot (50 %) and Cabernet Sauvignon (20 %), accomplished with Garnatxa, Carinyena and a small part of Picapoll Negre, a variety that is almost extinct in the Priorat region. Every time I taste this wine I like it even more than the last time, Lovely wine!! Priorat terroir, powerful but elegant at the same time. Vinyes Altes from Clos Dominic is better but this V. Baixes is the perfect every day wine, at 20€ range it has no competitor.
