Just lovely. A lovely nose that still has a bit of oak and graphite, the fruit woke up slowly over half an hour. Just a lovely fruit driven palette. My companion noted that the nose didn't give away it's origins, as in not much eucalyptus and I agreed.

Stunning. classic. Barossa as it should be. This wine is a perfect example of what aussie shiraz should be.

This bottle was not as good as the last. More prune flavors and some VA on the nose when we first opened it up. The balance was still very nice once the VA blew off.

This is what I like about a good Aussie Shiraz. Large scaled but balanced. Full bodied fruit with blueberries, black cherries, smoke, cresote, violets with a nice lingering finish that goes on for days. No heat. 15.5% alc

At out wine tasting, this came in a close second behind the Hundred Acre Ancient Way. An extraordinarily fruity wine with huge amounts of cherry and blackberries. A hint of smoke and a finish that lasted 60+ seconds. This qualifies as a true blockbuster.
