Ruby, clear. Medium low tannins. Medium high acidity. Blueberry, dried. Tobacco and vanilla. High alcohol. Full bodied. Pronounced intensity on nose and palate. Drinking well now, fully developed.

Took a while for this to open up, several hours at least. Medium-purple color, smooth but relatively short finish, a bit of a bite as well. I think there are better choices given the QPR.

I do like this wine, but the QPR is not great. Flavors of chocolate, dark berry and underbrush were backed by moderate tannins. A well made wine. A this price point, I would expect more complexity or a deeper expression of flavor.
