Deep purple hue. Fragrant nose of dark fruit and oak. Very balanced with nice finish. Relatively high alcohol but no heat. Drinking well now. Best of the Herder lot IMO.

Nice woody, earthy nose with some dark tree fruit. In the mouth it has a distinct cedar flavour, not overpowering, but combined with some other floral and dark fruity notes, this is a very nice wine. Almost no tannin to speak of.
