Tasted a lot better than expected. Ripe, rubber-grapey tones. Fun.

Final bottle from a half case. Compared to my previous tasting note from August 2015, this seems leaner now and more focused even, with zesty citrus fruit and only a hint of passion fruit, whilst retaining its wonderful Bacchus box-tree typicity; on the palate it's intensely mineral, with just a whiff of honey to balance the engaging bitters from the skins. Dry and linear style, verging on austerity even, but with lovely definition and length on the finish. Nothing wishy-washy …

Very light colour. Nice nose of grapefruit with the sweetness of lime. Lovely refreshing acidity. Clearly a food wine (it even has instructions on the back that this is so!) and its perfect as that. This is exactly what plenty of continental wines used to be like before whopping levels of alcohol appeared and gaining scores was paramount - pretty, delicate, fresh and drinkable, not overpowering and not always looking to be centre stage.

Clean and crisp, bright acidity, excellent Bacchus typicity, box tree, ripe fruit, mineral and intense, relatively restrained style, lovely interplay of bitters from the skins and waxy softness. Delicious, at peak.

A business dinner (@ Home) : Superb Bacchus. Restrained, elegant, stylish, has energy and mineral drive. Long.

The latest edition of this Cornwall single vineyard Bacchus grown on slate soils. Pure and bright, crisp and energetic, athletic and masculine, lovely hint of bitters from the skins, relatively understated, flowers and lime, has lovely drive and length. Good stuff.

Very pale, almost watery. Nose of pearl drop, slightly confected, floral notes too. The palate is very dry, sour gooseberry and grapefruit which makes it quite astringent with a slight bitterness on the finish. Not bad, but not good either.

Pale. Fresh. Deep. Lovely on a summers evening.

Lime and green apples on the nose though gave the impression you are smelling the sea. High acidity, easy drinking dry white with similar flavour characteristics on the palate. Will go well with seafood.
