Opened in the bottle for a few hours. Young and somewhat muted for Miani standards but still very drinkable. Stone fruit, green apple, honey, grass and mineral. Plenty of acidity and tartness on the palate that needs time to resolve. Modern style with restraint.

Strong blackcurrant leaf bouquet, the palate follows the nose, intense cassis, black currant, hints of flintstone, attractively fresh, crisp acidity, drinking well now but will develop, a classy wine.

The nose already says it all: citrus and lemograss betraying its Sauvignon character, with vanilla and coconut from the oak treatment. Beautifully fresh and rich, with the oak sensations present, but not taking away anything from the wine. Impressive showing at age 8, plenty of time/life left, though I doubt it gets much better from here having reached a nice plateau.

Lots of grapefruit, mineral and oak on the nose. Palate has good acidity yet the alcohol is a bit prominent. A fruity white that perhaps needs time for the alcohol to mellow out.
