Probably on the decline, but still pretty good.

Tangerine, BBQ & hibiscus aromas. Lackluster flavors or mouthfeel, though - flat with minimal tannins.

Not much depth of flavor. No apparent tannins. Quaffable red wine however.

The night we opened this it was light almost pinot like, nice but nothing special. After 48 hours the nose is earthy black cherry with earthy cherry flavors finishing sweetly with soft tannins. Very nice wine. 87 two nights ago 91 now.

Popped and poured. A Syrah-Grenache blend from the cooler climate Monterey County. This wine is medium-garnet in the glass with a nose of vanilla and cherry cola. On the palate, the same vanilla, cherry cola, cranberry and a hint of spice with a medium-length finish. The color, nose and flavor profile are more Pinot than Rhone.

Tighter and more cranberry this vintage. Allot higher toned then it has been.

Really cool Rhone-style blend! Jam-full of spicy black and blue berry notes along with an intriguing smoked, meaty character; lengthy finish. Quite well done!

Gets better every vintage. Sweet grenachy fruit, spicy Syrah, really well done. Bill says "a big slice of blueberry pie".
