still alive and fresh. citrus nose with sufficient sweetness, hints of Pine apple. nice Sauternes. medium body and length. still drinking it after several days (3). stayed strong in taste, sweetness fades a little. actually quite pleasant development. suggest to decant it for a couple of hours before drinking

Acker 200; 2/7/2020-2/8/2020 (The Pool & Cipriani) : Age really agrees quite a bit with sweet wines and this was no different. It was just lovely. You can tell it's older but it is has aged very well. Lots of lemon shortbread. Very tasty!

Old Grange and some other goodies (Ristorante Morini) : Still on the lighter golden side. Surprising to me given the age. Very nice and sweet and light. At this point in the evening note taking had fallen to the wayside, but I remember thinking it was young for the age and a nice sauternes.

It was very viscous and had a lot of volume. Good structure and nice, clean and acid palate. Just how it is supposed to be. Very good surprize!

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #073; Sauternes (By MM) : Golden yellow and a not very expressive bouquet, but there are some honey and flowers. On the palate quite intense with honey, tangerine, pineapple and elegant acidity. Quite mature and not extremely full bodied, but still fresh and elegant. Impressive for a wine of this age!
