Dark ruby color, full bodied, currant and citrus aromas, rich black cherry and currant flavors, low tannins, excellent.

Deep ruby color. Very good dark berry fruit, but not as rich as expected, instead more like a merlot, refined and well balanced. Improved an hour after opening.

Tasted at the winery. Excellent black fruit and with oak overtones. Full body. Deep red. Tannins need time to refine and soften. Give it five years and this will be in the 90's.
