The 2009 Hester Creek Character Red quickly became our house wine. It accompanied us for many dinners, providing rich, fruity flavors. And it wasn't just us raving about it, the inaugural vintage seemed to be unanimously loved. The 2010 vintage was a major letdown. It lacked the bold flavor that made the 2009 so much fun. Well, I'm happy to report that 2011 seems to be much more like the 2009. While it's still very young, it's drinking much more …
