Pietroso, Villa Montosoli, IGT

A very captivating wine, build on solid Sangiovese, but not a Brunello due to the presence of some local grapes in this part of the vineyard. I don't exactly which ones they are, but they give the wine a very interesting addition to the usual Brunello flavors, in particular some dark fruits (dark cherry and black currant), but also a slightly different structure and tannin.
