Very pale pink; elderflower and strawberry, peach too, dry but juicy, light on its feet (12% ABV), lovely flavours, soft but fresh, hint of zesty grapefruit on the slightly grassy finish. At Gastropub The Star in Witley, UK.

The beautiful capsule free bottle sets the stage for this lovely English wine - pale salmon blush with a ripe, pretty nose of fresh strawberries and red berries, white peaches and elderflower blossom, underscored by a perfumed, floral air. The palate is crisp and refreshing, softly balanced, with touches of zesty grapefruit on the lingering finish. This easily competes with Provence, but with a unique English twist. Just the ticket.

Nice peach and strawberry fruit. Lacks the intensity of last years vintage and there’s a touch of grassiness here but can’t see anyone complaining.
