Drinking well now. Tannin has receded. Nose and palate reflect a dark berry profile. Delicious but no rush to drink, and will likely still improve. Drink or hold.

Lovely Corton; sanguine, game meat, dark fruits, spice, and florals on the nose lead into a ripe and balanced palate. Had better balance than many '06s I've tasted. Still has plenty of upside.

I thought I'd try one of these to see how they are progressing. Classy nose. Some tartness on the palate which still needs to integrate. Tannins are present but refined. Not closed but not ready either. Although it's approachable, I think I will leave my remaining bottles for another five years.
