I believe this is the penultimate bottle, the my list shows three remaining. Decent zin character with a good QPR.

Once upon a time, I might have carried this bottle in my inner coat pocket while taking the kids around the neighborhood trick or treating. Perfectly fine for a Halloween wine.

Wednesday night pizza. Fine for this purpose

"Incredible" is a bit of an overstatement. Acceptable is more accurate. Not bad for the price.

If we were going to have a house wine, this would be it. Bramble fruits and earth on the nose, with a hint of vanilla. Nice lick of acidity on the finish. Wonderful with food, from steak through to pizza, pasta and roast chicken. An absolute bargain at half price.

Great bottle for the price, although we did get it at half price. We had with cheese and it went very well. Nice and smooth zinfandel.

Quite rich an lesssy for a zin. Big dark color. Rich, solid mouth feel. Maturing red raspberry and cherry fruit. Loads of oak. Close to full bodied. Round, smooth and approachable. Cinnamon, cedar and sandalwood. Nice integration. Low tannin. Upfront and intense, maybe a bit weak on the finish.

Nice drinkable zin. Forward berry flavors with notes of oak. Great QPR.

Medium red and still has that nice slight brick-orange color that is always encouraging. Also still has a nice tang and softness on day one, but didn't do so well on day two, losing its nice flavor notes.

The Peachy Canyon is no rock star, but it is a good solid offering under $10. The nose is the distinguishing attribute for me on this one, carrying a scent of fire roasted marshmallows along with some toasted oak. On the palate, it's pretty standard raspberries and cherries. Balance is just a touch off with some excess acidity swirling around. Finish is medium and pleasant. www.vincrush.com

Not as nice as their 2013. Raspberry in the nose but also a bit of over ripe funk. Some cinnamon in the mouth but overall, a simple wine. Lacks power and freshness.

Yes, still a big ripe, sweet fruited Zinfandel. Also shows quite a bit of oak and sandalwood, vanilla to the palate. 2014 is now just California appellation.
