Still shows a balance between herbal tea and red fruit with a well-placed strip of acidity.

Tasted over two days. Did not strike me as a RRV Pinot as it had a little more herbal notes rather than just the characteristic red cherry. It appears Kira Ballotta, winemaker, may have used a balanced approach in her winemaking that allowed a broader character to the wine. I’ve found that in other Olivia Brion and Cantadora wines I’ve tried.

Decanted for 45 minutes. Continued to improve over the next hour during dinner, but never seemed to fully open up. Dark cola and cherry notes. Medium body and finish.
