Bright medium ruby red. Almost immediately engaging, this has seductive complex aromas of pepper spices, saline mineral, fresh herbs, red and blackberry as well as earthiness all wrapped in an very elegance package. Medium bodied, very approachable with ultra polish texture that formed the creamy, silky mouth feel which culminate the flavor into slightly savory, umami sense that costed the mouth with care. I'd have guessed this is a premier cru if it's served blind. Perfumed red fruits, earthy, quit chambertin on nose. Simple palate but good balance. Oaky, metallic finish. Still tannic but tannins are fine. enjoyable now though it didn't match the grand cru expectation.

2011 Casual Session - 1 @ ES (Extra Space Boon Keng) : Alcohol :: 13.5% Seriously, this is quite good for the price, not something spectacular though. Perfume Gevrey nose with hint of wild factor and stem, fresh red fruits, roasted herb, violet, lavender and pepper. Silky smooth mouth feel introduce to pure fruits then turn into somewhat dusty, rubbery, slightly rough edge, palate staining finish. Perhaps this is in awkward stage? Buy - No.
