Colour: light cherry red Nose: cassis, black cherry syrup, plum. Beetroot. Sweet spice, touch of earthiness. Palate: cassis, black cherry syrup, plum, pomegranate. Beetroot. Sweet spice, touch of earthiness, some charred oak. Fresh berry-like acidity, fine grained tannins. Decent wine that actually tastes like Pinot for $10.

Dark garnet color. Aromas of cherry, plum, spices. Tastes of oak, spices, dark cherries and darker berries, decent 20-30 sec finish. Day 2 opens to more of a peppery spice. Great value Shiraz.

The prior rater is pretty much dead-on. On first impression, it was pretty closed-in, but opened up into fruit and oak -- mainly dark cherry and strawberry extract with oak spices. Balance is a little off, to be honest -- it's flabby -- with a long finish. Not really sure on the drinking window here -- probably about time to drink up, in that case.

Very oaky and strong berry taste. To optimize flavor, drink after letting it breathe for a couple of hours

Fruity but relatively restrained Pinot - gvfm and something that I'll buy again but did not set my heart racing.
