Deep, dark red color. Lots of fruit on the nose with a mix of berries. A small taste of smokiness for the finish and a relatively high level of alcohol with over 15% on the label. Actual potency is probably a little bit higher.

Not bad. Slightly smoky taste of black cherries. Clean finish. A bit strong for my taste upon swallowing. Burns the throat a bit but mellowed some after letting breathe for an hour or so.

Corked-but Costco Liquor gave us a replacement. Hopefully we will have better luck with the new bottle.

Deep purple in colour this wine is certainly a monster out of the bottle. Capsicums, rich black fruits, cigar box characters and a hint of alcohol on the nose. The palate is rich and full showing jammy red fruit, spice, white pepper and warm tannins.

Great Zinfandel for the price. It is pretty fruit forward with a hint of peppery spice. The fruit forwardness is typical of that you find in Paso Robles but not to the extreme as some others. If you like fruit forward but not so fruit forward that you are drinking grape juice, then this is a wine for you.

A bit tight on the nose with hints of raspberry. Taste was a jammy raspberry with a bit of tannins coating the teeth. Was hoping for more. A bit disappointed.
