Light licorice pot pourri and mystery in the nose. Light in texture, strong in flavor. Goes even more tar and black fruit with time. Lovely

Cherry fruit, nice acidity with integrated tannins. Finished seems a little short but maybe more air will help.

Very nice classic Barolo with notes of dried leaves and flowers, remnants of dark berry fruit, cherry pits and leather. The ripe tannins are strong, fine sandy and give structure. Medium+ acidity. An aromatically deep, firm, classic Barolo with character and expression. Perfect to drink now.

Drinking nicely now, ripe fruit, quite dark, somewhat broody, nicely rounded tannins, a bit dry and thick.

Quite good with a nice perfume and fruit. It is a good Barolo without hitting the hihh marks.

Nebbiolo Prima (day 4) #199. Striking acidity, above-average fruit quality, and pretty, perfumed aromas, but at the end of the day (hence, no score) it's a bit disjointed. Good raw material, just needs bottle rest, and not fair to assign a value at this time. Having tasted across 4 or 5 vintages, I've come to expect this with these wines from this producer. I think its more a positive than a negative, for what it's worth. Drink thru 2020.
