Burkitt blend components tasting (Eldridge Estate, Mornington Peninsula) : Barrel Sample. Initially slightly volatile, dark fruits; gets prettier with time. Spiced, juicy, quite generous tending to rich in this line up, tannins are tight, present but quite finely textured. Yum.

Burkitt blend components tasting (Eldridge Estate, Mornington Peninsula) : Barrel Sample. Strawberry with a slightly green herbaceous underpin that puts me in mind of touriga nacional. A little plum with time. Wet, savoury, tight, flavours are muted on the palate - more about structure for me.
