2 hour decant. Nice, lightweight, flavoursome - pleasant enough, and reasonable value, but not especially distinctive.

3 hour decant. Thin purple - forest in the nose - grapes, a few blackberries, the odd cherry - reasonable but not especially long finish - pleasant, lightweight, if somewhat indistinct, wine.

A year on - I'd like to say I remember this wine, but really I don't - this is a gentle, interesting, flavoursome drink - light and breezy for a warm evening.

By the time the 4 of us had this, after Christmas dinner, we'd already had a bottle of wine and 2 bottles of port. But it did the job it was required to do - easy, flavoursome, unobtrusive.
