Deep fruity flavours with a touch of licorice - a perfect match for a paella

Initially completely closed. After half an hour it blossomed and unidentifiable precious (cedar?) wood and plum tastes appeared. Nice. Aftertaste rather short. Excellent QPR.

Dark ruby in the glass with hints of terra cotta on the edges, opened considerably over an hour would recommend decanting, expressive nose of fruit and wood, palate of dark fruits cherry and plum, black licorice, vanilla and spice. Well made wine with a medium long finish.

Medium-ruby, nose: dark flowers notes, a lot of vanilla, a hint of black pepper, dark "drunk" berries - cherry, plum, tobacco, milk chocolate, sweetness, fully developed; palate: acidity med, alcohol med+ (13.5% feels like med), tannin med, body med, intensity med, cherry, plum, oak, vanilla, freshness, finish med. Very good, interesting, ballanced, light and nice wine, delicate, with silky tannin, drink now. Perfect for 12$.

To my surprise the wine opened and was much better to drink after 2h in the decanter.. Black berries, dark cherries, plum, cedar, raspberries, leather, coffee, still tannic and with elegant acidity Young and underrated wine! what a pity it was the last bottle in the market.. Decanting is obligated...

Nina and Mathias family dinner (Umeå, Sweden) : A little weak, but still elegant with moderate levels of dill and some omph. Liked by all and would happily have again. Was perfect with saffron risotto.

After all those Reservas 04 I drank a several years ago, I wanted to try this GR range if the same vintage. Dark colour. Good memories on the nose, nice amount of fruit and well-integrated wood.
