Taminick Cellars Durif Shiraz

A bolter of a wine in the best possible way. Rich red berry fruits with sweet minerals and talcum powder that initially had me thinking Tempranillo (if I was tasting blind of course) but some darker fruits late, together with some building ABV impact, point to the Durif. Yes its on the bigger side of things but great fun and not a wine to think too much about. Great result at 8yrs.
