Such a great deal for $5. Always a crowd pleaser. Wonderful QPR.

An every day wine. Smell the grape jelly. Was worth $5 to try one bottle. Not a lot of character on the taste but nothing bad about it either.

While drinking the wine, I completely forgot how much I paid for this wine and I assumed it was a $12 bottle. This is a very good $5 surprise. Merlot, Cab and Syrah smoothly blended, with very "juicy" berries and some chocolate on the mouth, ripped blackberry, and wet earth on the nose. Very nice with strong flavor appetizers (grape leaves, feta cheese dishes, hummus and couscous.) Will definitively buy again and have a couple bottles handy.

Very simple wine. Strong Alcohol nose with a bit of black currant. No finish whatsoever.

Surprisingly good wine for the price! Nice body with balanced black cherry and raspberry flavors. Nice with a heavy pasta dish.

Well it was sitting there at an attractive price so I took it. I thought the blend would give a little more dimension than the typical inexpensive single varietal. Compared with the Australian style the jamminess is less hot; too much of the soft straightforward fruit for my taste, but yet, if one is patient, there is some cedary currant from the Cabernet that gives a little complexity.

Don't ever open a cheap wine after an evening of expensive wines, since it is obviously a cheap wine and you know at that point you have had too much nice wine to drink!

Chocolate and black cherry on the nose, licorice and black cherry on the palate. A smooth, pleasant jammy wine, full bodied without a lot of complexity, but also without that vexing alcohol burn! Decent acidity, a quaffer, OK for the $$$.

Very muted fruit. Some earth and some rather gross funkiness. It's not undrinkable, but not worth the $5 I paid for it.

Very nice. Lots of fruit and light tannins. Definitely heavy on the Merlot in the blend. I like this wine a lot for the price point. This wine is sold by Trader Joe's under an exclusive agreement with the winery. I've had some iffy deals from Trader Joe's but this one looks like a winner.

Usually i am afraid to purchase $5 wines, but this is pretty decent! Berries and floral notes on the nose. Hint of acetone, but blows off quickly Bing cherries and red berries on the palate. Lighter than i expected for the grapes used, and with very soft tannins. The acidity holds this one together. Altogether not what i was expecting, but pretty nice!
