Templars Hill, Pinot Noir, Central Otago

Deep, bright burgundy colour... lavender, violets, red berry and pomegranate on the nose. A light to medium weight wine with good acidity, some sour tartness but well balanced with some sweet red fruits with mixed spices and some leathery notes coming through on the finish, speaking to the oak treatment. Nice 2nd label(?) for Mt Difficulty... good CO PN, almost a quaffer. Good stuff all round. Built for drinking young.
