Decanted for an hour. Medium garnet in the glass. Floral, perfumed, chalky nose. Palate is light and airy - rose petal, violet, chalk, some raspberry hard candy, and a touch of earth. Medium body, medium acidity, medium + tannins. Great QPR.

A bit funky in a low intervention way, but not overtly, luckily. Slightly oxidised already on opening, yet it’s worth aerating – some of the funk goes away, if not the oxidation of course, but it’s shows as pleasant licorice notes. You won’t mistake this for French grenache, it’s more akin to Australian ones with it’s cooked strawberry, raisin and candy, yet still savoury aromatics, the character even reminded me to the famous Greenock Creek. Excellent nose with raspberry and plum. Medium - tannins and a little dusty leather/earth with plums. Very slight sour ness on the finish which was medium in length. A good example of Spanish garnache. This producer has a Bobal that was excellent and this may have suffered in comparison.

This medium+ body wine needs some airing/decanting. Starts withred fruits, followed by some plum and a touch of vanilla. Some oak and smoke towards the finish. Very much what I would expect from a Garnacha. A very good value.

Detta växer ju på en. Lite lättare, perfekt till både kallskuret och grillad kyckling i solskenet. Mums! Svag fyra.

For EUR 8 locally, this Garnacha-based blend is great value for money. It’s a simple, but well made floral wine showing a mix of ripe red and black fruits on the nose, very smooth and clean, with a touch of red fruit jam on the palate. Very friendly wine.

Clean and fresh showing sherry, strawberry and flowery notes. Vibrant acidity with a precise finish. 85% garnacha and 15% Cariñena. A very good blend at an affordable price. NI:3, FI:21, FC:8, B:4, L:3
