erste von 6 Fl, hier in OHK gelagert. Nicht dekantiert. Farbe: klar, dunkel Nase- nicht ausgeprägt , kein Stinker G: beachtlich trinkfertig , kaum Holz, viel Reife Frucht , dunkle Beeren/ Kirsche Nicht „groß“, Mittelgang, wunderbar zu trinken !

Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of deep ruby colour, with fading rim and legs. Nose: Clean, with medium (+) intensity of black fruit of blackberry and cassis, pungent spice of liquorice, kernel notes of coffee, mineral notes of graphite, oak notes of smoke, maturity notes of savoury. The wine is developing. Palate: Dry with medium acidity, the wine has high tannin of ripe and velvety texture, medium alcohol, full body and medium (+) intensity flavours of black fruit …

Deep garnet red. Layered nose with notes of minerality, spices, dried red berries, truffles, mushrooms and some gravel. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Dry and integrated on the palate with notes of damp earth, red berries, spices and some dark gravel. Medium to medium plus finish. Drink till 2024.

Very good

Tons of fun. Not only the rich fruit we're coming to expect from this vintage but also a vivacious acid to keep everything well (or at least quite well) balanced.

Annual Grand Cru Tasting (Wijnhandel De Gouden Leeuw, Voorschoten, NL) : Not bad at all. Quite a flamboyant style, not profound but very attractive.

Young appearance, ruby color. Fruity aromas, cassis and a hint of vanilla on the nose. Quite easy-drinking, medium body, smooth tannins, fine balance. Very pleasant to drink already.

Austere in style, medium bodied with a focus on red berries, there is some dryness to the tannins in this classically styled Bordeaux. From a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc.

Le Week-end des Grands Crus (Bordeaux) : 70CS, 26M, 4CF. Rather dark for a Pauillac. Very fruity, good minerality, quite a lot of tannins. Needs time! 89-91

No formal notes. But…. This wine is still improving. Black fruit juice, some ok oak. Still doesn't belong to the great wines of Pauillac, but well above average.
