At LWB with MPL. Deep, deep gold; almost orange. Incredibly deep, unctuous nose. Nutty, very nice and rich on entry. Abruptly, the wine tailed off badly at mid-palate, becoming very woody with oxidation apparent. Finished poorly, though still drinkable; dry, rotten apple finish. Bitter. 5-11-8-4: 78/100.
