Very fruit forward, but with some silky tannins. The oak is subtle and soft. Red fruit on the nose with a touch of cedar. A little spice mid range on the palate. This is fairly closed and should age nicely. Not sure about the 2034 drinking window, but a few years more will likely help open the complexity some.

Young but ever so welcoming , good modernity here , well managed ripeness and oak, silky tannin. Touch cold at times and definitely would like to see some earthy tones to it. Still at a very good time in its drinking window and we felt would age nicely for another couple of decades. 91 for now

Diamond Importers Greece Trip May 2025; 5/2/2025-5/11/2025 (Greece) : 60% Syrah (structure), 20% (aromatics/complexity), 20% Merlot (softness) 18m new French oak Reduction to the nose, chewy palate, med/+ body, chocolate covered cherry palate. 2003 first commercial release. Ted has some 2002 still. This is their best plot of Syrah, and this is their Flagship wine, the 1st that they produced.
