Dark purple color, hefty tanins, richness in the mouth, eternal finish. Too tight without our grilled lamb. It has a mouth-puckering tartness like just-picked plums. My wife says burnt caramel but I don't taste it. Dark cherries, yes, with the herbaceous nose of any good cab. Now with the meat...just right.
