Huge wine! Not complex, but if you enjoy oak and tannins this will be your jam!

2018 vintage

Dark red. Great nose, cassis, cedar, plums and singed herbs. Intense? Yes. Rich? Not sure. The flavours are dry and intense. Long dry tannic finish. I thought this showed as a high percentage Cabernet wine. As far as I can find it is 65% Merlot. Go figure.

Enjoyed at N&Gs with dinner. At first, rather subdued and reticent, but it opened up. Has that trait of Bordeaux: you are drawn in, wanting more (not something CNDP tends to do, though I like it in a different way). Good wine!

Wet cardboard nose upon opening ….blows off in 25 mins. Muted cherry, kirsch, menthol, dust, kiwi, tar…changing …not amazing …good mid-tier Bordeaux

In much better shape than previous bottles which concentrated, soupy and laden with some horrid coconut and vanilla notes, this lost most of that and seems to have mellowed into a nice, mid-range claret.

Extraordinary value for a bin end from the wine society at £12.75. Cedary, a little green, but nice black and red fruit. Persistent finish, fruit balancing the tannins and acidity. Drinking very well now. No complaints at all.

This was quite a shock. A lovely cedary and fresh wine with great poise, deliciously ripe fruit with a cool stone minerality. Immense class and an absolute steal for what the wine soc was selling it for. Predictably, they have sold out... Chasse Spleen, Poujeaux, this...does Moulis make any bad wine??

Dark ruby red with fresh dark fruit aromas of plums and some spices/oak. Medium bodied, soft, rich flavors of dark fruit with some cherries. The finish was dry, soft and clean...drinking well right now. Drank much better than a Castillon Cotes de Bordeau that we had; I guess all scores are somewhat relative.

Inviting aromas of cherry. A lot of fruit in mouth. Lenghty finish. Paired well with steak.

Very disappointed. Paid $24.00 after seeing high ratings at point of purchase and figured how could I go wrong with a 2010 vintage and estate bottled. Found nothing I could write about here. Alcoholic nose. Couldn't taste any varietal character. Thin, thin, thin. It didn't come close to medium body. No taste. No finish. Drinkable. That's all.

This was not a great wine unfortunately. Drink over two days, half bottle each day, decanting each for approximately 30 to 60 minutes. And imbalanced nose with the alcohol, almost ethanol smell, overpowering the fruit. Tannins were present as expected for the 2010, but the acidity was overpowering.

Bold, concentrated, rustic, earthy, pure. Ample substance and structure. Noticeable purity of Cabernet Sauvignon. Nice value. 90-91.

Although it can be drunk, the 2010 Chateau Duplessis has not integrated well its components yet. Alcohol and acidity are sharp and inharmonious, demanding cellar time. Blackberry, plums and anise, in a floral profile, along with some spices are shown in this medium body. After a good breathing, tannis revealed nice spices that carry on to the medium length finish. 88-90

Not much here. Not much aroma nor taste. Like others said, tight, tart, young maybe. But doesn't hold much promise for anything above 88/89.

One of my favorite wines. Very full and tasty. Very sweet but not over the top. Went great with steak.

Lighter than most left bank perhaps need time. Worth the price and purchase again as an upper scale everyday wine

Tasted at Total Wine in McLean, VA on July 18, 2014. 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Very tight and young tannins. Needs more time to be appreciated. Score is reflective of current drinking but definitely has potential to rise a few more points. Average vineyard age is 24 years.

Nose of cherry, powdered sugar....firm and closed. tannic...a bit closed, tart, thin, cherry, currant, seawater, tar...needs a couple of years...very young.

pretty nice wine, dried-fruits first, then smoky tannins, nice finish. Had forgotten everything about why I bought this when I first opened, and upon tastingwas impressed enough to learn more about it. Maybe on the upper edge of price for an "everyday" wine, but meets the taste criteria.

Good color. On the nose, there is dark plum, cedar, herbs, oak, and flowers. This is medium full bodied on the palate, with good concentration and decent elegance. It finishes with civilised tannins and good acidity. Medium length. This is very tight right now...
