Hop Kiln / HKG Wines Pinot Noir Generations

Unfortunately we drank this bottle after transport in a car, and didn't give it time to settle. Since it is unfiltered, it had a hazy medium red color. Despite the appearance, the nose reminds me of spring flowers and red cherries. After a slight bite on the tongue, likely from the alcohol, a bouquet of light fruit, especially raspberries, red cherries, and plums. Moderate finish, mainly the same fruit as in the taste.

tart cherry nose, tart cherry syrup on the finish. the wine is peaking and the finish is short, but still velvety, not elegant as it used to be.

Excellent match to turkey and cranberry sauce. The tartness and bright cherries went well with the cranberry. The light, airy fruit went well with turkey and the giblet gravy. And, everything came together with the stuffing.

Clean, crisp Pinot. Plenty of cherry on the nose. Tart palate, but enjoyable blend of cherries, berries, and acid.

Still too young. This bottle needs several years to age. It is very tight and not ready to drink. The fruit is there, but the velvet finish is missing, only because of its youth. I think this wine is going to be really great soon! I truly think this wine is going to be really good, it just needs time.
