For such a famous producer this is a bit of a disappointment. Petrol nose but little else with a thin palate, no length, short finish. Some citrus notes, bone dry but lacks depth.

Wwe. Dr. H. Thanisch (Erben M�ller-Burggraef) Riesling Tasting with Owner Barbara Rundquist Muller (Ristorante Luci, St. Paul, MN) : medium-light gold color. Drank 1 glass over 20 minutes. Nose shows moderate petrol, lime, citrus, mineral, more fruit emerges with time. The palate has citrus, mineral, medium-short finish. 87+pts.
