Ansitz Pfitscher Alto Adige - Südtirol Fuchsleiten

Those of you following my tasting notes might have noticed that I’m clearing some space in the cellar. This nice Pinot Nero is my next victim, after it spent just over 5 years ‘downstairs’. Awesome colour, ruby/brick. Paired with a carrot/parsnip/potato-stew it carried the sweetness and the earthyness of the dish on its remarkable fresh acidity. Well made wine, very ready to drink now.

Kleur: Bordeaux rood, helder, niet zo intens. Geur: viooltjes, kruidig en een snufje van die typische Ninot Noir 'elastiekjes'. Smaak: rood bos fruit, een iet wat aan de zure kant. aardig wijntje, maar mist wat 'lengte'.
