Very nice, and I think drinking perfectly. Has development, but also fruit and youth. Medium gold. Toasted lemon, candied almonds. Palate is nice and smooth and rounded, but there is a lot of acidity there that carries it to a long finish. Complex mix of flavours, taut without being harsh, and a long finish. No sweetness, but there is a suggestion of honey on the palate. Very nice wine.

This was absolutely stunning. Opened for about 8 hours before drinking. Did not decant.

In der Nase Mandarine, etwas tropisches Obst wie Papaya, verhalten Vanille-Creme. Dazu recht dunkel rauchig, fast feuersteinig, und etwas nussig-heftig. Insgesamt sehr komplex und mit Luft immer frischer werdend. Am Gaumen ist das einerseits ein Pfälzer Maulvoll Wein, andererseits zeigt es auch hier viel Komplexität und vor allem auch Frische. Sehr saftige Säure, sehr trocken wirkend und auch hier deutlich Feuerstein-geprägt mit durchaus mächtiger Phenolik / Mineralik. Color amarillo pálido casi blanquecino. Delicioso aroma de gran pureza y elegancia, hierba de monte, cítricos, fondo mineral concretado en petróleo o gas, notas de jengibre. Boca fina, elegante, mantecosa y muy ácida con sensaciones cítricas como pomelo, manzana ácida, florales y herbáceas, por si faltará algo, además a más de una elevada mineralidad que recuerda la piedra sílex, produce una finísima aguja casi inapreciable al paladar, lo cual aumenta la gracia y solvencia de este vino.
