Domaine Nicole Lamarche Grands-Echezeaux

I was certain that it would be too early to open this wine, but this bottle was very expressive as soon as the cork was pulled. Sweet raspberry, redcurrant, sour cranberry, white pepper, roses, Madagascar vanilla, Clementine zest and oak. This was very light bodied, elegant, surprisingly high acid, and without a lot of structure or tannin. Felt fairly drinking ready, although I don't doubt this will hold for another 7-10 years.
