cherry and chocolate, pretty good. but not overwhelming

Cherry, black currant, menthol nose. Cherry, licorice, bell pepper, menthol, leather, cedar. Too oaky for my taste, yet much better than a year ago.

A burst of licorice with a hint of green pepper on the nose. The attack is a licorice bomb, some vanilla and prune on the mid-palate, leather and green pepper finish. I hope this is in a dumb phase as I have enjoyed prior vintages quite a bit.
