This is a remarkably good Nero d' Avola Rose'. Pale ruby red, with crisp bright red fruit and some wet stone. Medium (+) acidity, medium alcohol, low tannins and medium (+) minerality. Quite quaffable. Drink now, not intended for further aging. A really good value.

I was excited to try this wine for three main reasons: 1) It is a rosato and I have become even more of a rosé hound recently; 2) I believe it is a True Rosé of Nero d’Avola; and 3) It is from Sicily, which I will be visiting this fall.
