I've got two more of these, and I think the other two probably need to be opened rather soon. This wine does have some really good aged red cherry and red licorice characters about it. The finish is a little bit raucous, a little bit weedy, a little bit herbal for my liking. Brambly red fruit core, medium+ bodied wine with a touch of red cherry cola and tobacco. Finishes with a medium amount of pepper. A little bit of stuff neutral oak tannin but nothing that detracted from the wine. This wine will go with a host of foods.
