Deep ruby. Red fruits on nose. Generous, mature palate. Double decanted two hours and could have used four. Drink soon, I think.

Starting to turn brick red. Very nice with 2-4 hour decant. Full bodied, hint of drying tannins, red fruits. Great with steak. Has balance and firmness to improve for another 2-3 years.

Deep crystaline red. Some sediment. Improved after slow O'd two hours. Red berries, smooth, contemplative wine. Tannins peak in and out as does truffle after an hour in glass.

Parchment red as it poured. Deeper red in glass. Better after 30 minute decant. Smooth acidity, hint of quinine, lime peel. Nice depth and balance at 11+ years.

Still an infant even with 3 hours of slow-ox. Very pure aroma but still have oak-influence. Very good balance and structure which exceeding its' class. Give it few more years in cellar at least. A knock-out at this price point.

Un vin sur la structure, plutôt racé, mais dont le fruit est muet à ce stade. C’est puissant mais assez fin, avec une jolie finale épicée. Un peu janséniste en l’état., mais je crois bien que ça fera une belle bouteille d’ici trois à 5 ans. 88 ++ pts L'ami Gilles Martin m'aurait semoncé, évidemment que c'est trop jeune! Mais bon la curiosité parfois l'emporte...

Really nice. Needed a good hour to add weight and depth but then it was surprisingly deep and Pinot and sappy--especially considering the year. Would drink these from now with air, but depth/fruit/acid enough to develop too. Two bottles consistent.

Joli nez envoûtant, qui pinotte! Floral, sous-bois, petit fruit rouge, vanille. La bouche montre une belle vigueur, avec un structure assez droite, des tanins tendres et une impression de profondeur. Racé, un peu fermé au niveau aromatique, mais l'équilibre y est et il montre une belle dimension, confirmant les écrits à propos du climat Grèves. 91+ pts
