Domaine du Gué d'Orger Savennières Sectilis Terra

A year on from my last note and essentially no change. A point less because this is hard to match and an example of the Chenin unknown sweetness issue which I think till hampers a wider acceptance of Vouvray and increasingly Savennieres.

Fascinating - ripe, rich - atypical. Full gold and at first glance, smell, taste pre-mature. What becomes apparent after it settled down is that this has a long and dry finish, and I suspect a long life ahead. Distinctive and contrarian.
